Will I get to meet you?
Yes, I offer a free face-to-face consultation which gives us the opportunity to discuss your pets individual needs and requirements. This also gives us the chance to get to know each other and for you to ask any additional questions.
When are you available to care for my pet?
I am available to walk or care for your pet... Mon-Fri between the hours of 08:00 -18:00
Do you work Weekends and Bank Holidays?
As a general rule, no. However, if this is something you require, please contact me to discuss your requirements. Please note there would be an additional cost for this service.
How many dogs will you walk at once?
The maximum amount of dogs I would walk at any one time is 6. However, we will discuss your dogs individual needs at our consultation and adapt to your preference.
I only require occasional care for my pet, can you help?
Yes, of course. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Do you walk dogs off the lead?
This is something I will discuss with you when we meet. However, this would only be with your written consent and if I feel confident that your dog will respond to recall.
Are you Insured?
Yes, I am fully covered with Public Liability Insurance. I will bring my certificate to our consultation.
What happens in the case of an emergency?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will immediately call and notify you. In our original consultation, I will ensure that I have all of your emergency contact details. If veterinary assistance is needed, I will take your pet to your named vet or, depending on the circumstances, to the nearest possible one.
Are you trained in Canine First Aid?
Yes, I am fully trained in Dog First Aid and Emergency Canine Care. I always carry a first aid kit with me when out on a walk. I will bring my certificate to our consultation.
Will my dog be supervised at all times?
Yes, your dog will be supervised at all times.
Do I need to be home when you collect or drop-off my dog?
No, If you are happy for me to hold a key to your property, this will enable me to collect and drop off your dog while you’re not at home. All keys are kept in a secure locked box and will never be marked with anything other than the name of your dog. Alternatively you can leave a key in an agreed safe location or keysafe.
Will I be charged if I need to cancel a walk at short notice?
If possible, I would ask for at least 24 hours notice if you would like to cancel. Please note that if the appropriate notice is not given, a charge may apply.
What method of payment do you take?
You can either pay by Cash or BACS (Bank Transfer). This will be discussed with you at our consultation.
